The Creative Crafters

Meeting every Thursday to create items to benefit programming, the Creative Crafters gather. Meeting for near-on fifteen years one can only imagine the huge number of beads and buttons, and the amount of felt and yarn that have passed thought their hands, not to mention the countless items they have created over the years. If anyone were to look for dedication in an organization, this group should be highlighted as a model example!

Just one benefit they provide is to create items for our Rolling Meals recipients. They give that extra ounce of love showing up with her meal in the form of a hand-stitched felt shamrock in recognition of St. Paddy’s Day, or a Wacky Wooly Love Bug meant to bring a smile to a face. Our Cody Rolling Meals recipients I’m sure feel special to receive these reminders that say, “We care, and you are not forgotten!” The Creative Crafters would never allow that to happen…talk about a volunteer’s purpose!
